Order of the Laurel Cross Established

The Director General has announced the creation of a new order recognizing the important contributions of artists and scientists to Sylvestria. The Order of the Laurel Cross will acknowledge and reward outstanding achievements in science and art by Sylvestrians, as well as exceptionally significant contributions to Sylvestrian culture by non-sylvestrians. Membership is limited to 50 living recipients. Nominations to the order may be made by any Sylvestrian. Nominations will be evaluated by a select committee whose recommendations will be presented to the Director General.
